She’s built established and emerging brand, communications and design firms, and is shaping the vision, strategy and brand to engage talent, clients, and partners to drive Vee’s growth. She’s an innovative strategist skilled at helping organizations discover who they are and what they have, and helping them to see what they can be. Her superpower is crystalizing strategies and propositions, and crafting and socializing their stories to drive engagement and operationalize change.
Professional Background
Prior to co-founding Vee, she rejoined RSSR where, during two tours of duty, she led the firm and its largest scale global organization design, capability development, talent assessment, trends, employer branding and executive search engagements in design, innovation and branding for 3M, Allstate, BMW, Box, Clorox, Hewlett-Packard, Lowe’s, Microsoft, NFL Properties, Nissan, Pepsico, Philips, Procter & Gamble, Prophet Brand Strategy, Sapient and Smart Design, among others.
Before that, she founded PLANET SUR, where she developed country and destination brands to attract trade, foreign direct investment and tourism to drive innovation and economic development, and worked with smart cities, eco-travel, fashion e-comm, sport, and global food retailing ventures. Past experience includes the launch and/or growth of Omnicom brand consultancies and agencies, including the NY office of London-based Wolff Olins and Siegel + Gale’s corporate branding practice, where she led account teams and developed brand strategies and communications for E*TRADE, JPMorgan Chase, LVMH, Mastercard, MoMA, Nike, Philips, and US Steel.
Education
Shari holds a BBA in Marketing/Advertising from Baruch College. She is fluent in Spanish and understands German, Portuguese and Italian. She is a frequent awards show judge and host, board member of industry associations and non-profits, and speaker on sustainability, consumers, branding, and The Impact of Digitization on Society at universities and conferences in the US and Latin America, including Baruch, Columbia Business School (BRITE), School of Visual Arts, and ABAP (Brazil).
